Flow State

We mentioned the "Flow State" in class today. I mentioned an article on it.
Specifically about sending electrical currents through certain parts of the brain to induce the flow state.

Happiness in Three Sentences

Happiness is elbow room.

Happiness is good company.

Happiness is being yourself.

What is Happiness?

On Monday, we were asked what happiness is.

Many had many opinions.

I personally thought really hard but didn't say out loud that my view of happiness isn't what you have, but what you can acquire. Acquisition is the ultimate happiness in a capitalist goal-oriented society.

You set goals for yourself, and you feel happy about achieving those goals.

That is why people love challenges. The feeling you get upon successful completion of a jigsaw puzzle is the same feeling you get from achieving your goals.
